in African Markets

Voconiq is present in Africa, and is led by our African Markets Coordinator Dr Nelson Solan Chipangamate.

Nelson is a social scientist with expertise in crafting and implementing transformational stakeholder engagement strategies for sustainable trust-based relationships involving governments, communities and corporations. He has a degree in economics, a master’s in business administration and a PhD in community engagement and social licence from the esteemed Gordon Institute of Business Science, in South Africa.

He leads our team in Africa to help industry develop relationships with community members, build trust amongst them, and help them to become better neighbours.

Nelson will soon be hosting an informational webinar on how community trust can be built in the African minerals and resources sectors.

VoconiQ Management

At Voconiq, we don’t just tell you what people think, we work with our partners to develop an understanding of why people think the way that they do. The core Voconiq team have been successfully delivering complex local, regional, and national social analysis and research projects across more than a dozen countries over the last 12 years, directly engaging more than 70,000 community members in the process.

We currently deliver systematic research and engagement services in nine countries on four continents – we understand complexity and have developed a robust delivery model to ensure consistent, high-quality work regardless of context or issue.

Our free case study will show you how you too can build a trust based social licence, even in volatile contexts. Specifically, you will be able to mitigate the social risks associated with a non-scientific approach to managing social concerns.
