Voconiq is a Brisbane based engagement science company. We specialise in bringing the voices of communities into companies and organisations, like Yindjibarndi Nation. We help companies and organisations develop a better understanding of what is important to communities and to build deeper relationships as a result. At our heart, we are a company that values people and community interests, and we work hard to help communities have their say about projects and local issues that affect them.

We are a multi-skilled, growing team of scientists, researchers, academics, community engagement specialists and industry experts who value people and relationships above all else. We are led by our CEO, Dr Kieren Moffat, and are now delivering our innovative approaches on five continents.

What do we do?

We provide useable data and insights to help companies and organisations understand what is going on in the communities that surround them, including the thoughts and opinions of the people in those communities. We gather this data through a variety of methods which typically involve surveys, interviews, community and stakeholder engagement, and existing data sources from the community.

Our goal is to bring the voices of communities into the places where they can effect change and are needed the most: within the companies and organisations that operate in and around them.

How are we supporting Yindjibarndi Nation

Yindjibarndi Nation have engaged Voconiq to deliver the ‘Yindjibarndi Nation Survey' The goal of the survey is to give Yindjibarndi members the opportunity to have their say and share what they value most about their communities.

The benefit of having Voconiq undertake this work is to allow community members to confidentially express their views, thoughts and concerns to someone that has no conflicting interest in the outcome of the work. This will not only help community members feel more comfortable providing their unfiltered opinions, but also help us collect a sample of responses at arm’s length from Yindjibarndi Nation.
